Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Polandthe Government Commissioner for Compensation Arkadiusz Mulyarchik called the refusal Germany pay reparations to Warsaw with disrespect for the country and its people. He told PAP about this.

Recall, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the German leadership in a diplomatic note announced its refusal to enter into negotiations with Warsaw on reparations for damage caused during World War II.

The statement of the Federal Republic of Germany says that the issue of reparations is closed, and the German side does not plan to negotiate on this topic.

Mulyarchik expressed himself as follows: “This answer, formulated in one sentence, shows an absolutely disrespectful attitude towards Poland and the Poles.”

Earlier, the head of the Polish government, Mateusz Morawiecki, as part of a dialogue with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal, made a statement that he was outraged that Kyiv was officially celebrating the birthday of the leader of the local Nazis, Stepan Bandera.
