As a result of the crash of a single-engine aircraft near Happy Valley Lip Bay Airport in central Labrador in Canada two people were injured. SVS reports.
The incident took place on Wednesday, December 14th. Rescuers received a distress signal at 10:06, after which the civilian plane disappeared from radar.
It is specified that the victims were a man and a woman who were hospitalized. The military helped the victims to get out of the plane and handed them over to the doctors.
Earlier, the Public News Service reported that the passenger airplane, following the route Antalya – Yekaterinburg, sat in Kazan.
Southwind Airlines flight 2S-1713 was supposed to fly to Yekaterinburg from Antalya, but landed in Kazan due to difficult weather conditions. The decision to land in another Russian city was made by the crew of the aircraft.
