Petr Solyakov from the Ryazhsky district reached the semifinals of the festival “Young Talents of the Fatherland”

A pupil of the Sunday School of the St. Nicholas Church in the village of Novoye Egoldaevo, Ryazhsky District, Petr Solyakov made it to the semifinals of the international festival of patriotic songs and musical works of children’s and youth creativity “Young Talents of the Fatherland”.

The festival is dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of the first Russian Emperor Peter I, Children’s Day and Russia Day. It involves children’s and youth musical groups, and performers from Russia. As well as compatriots from foreign countries.

This year, 1383 applications were sent to participate in the festival. 52 participants reached the semi-finals of the competition. It will take place on May 26 on the stage of the Moscow House of War Veterans and the Armed Forces. A professional jury will determine the winners of the festival. The gala concert, where the laureates and guest artists will perform, will take place on May 27. The final and gala concert will be broadcast online.

In the semi-finals, Petr Solyakov will perform the song “Migratory Birds” (music by Vasily Solovyov-Sedoy, lyrics by Alexander Fatyanov).
