Peskov called the Polish battalion near the borders of Belarus a step towards tension

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov commented on the decision of the Polish authorities to deploy a new tank battalion on the border with Belarus.

During a briefing on Monday, November 13, he said that Warsaw had taken another step towards tension.

“Of course, this is another step towards <…> tension, nothing more,” the Kremlin official emphasized.

Prior to this, the Polish Ministry of National Defense reported that the country had deployed a new tank in Chartaiv battalion.
