Fuel prices at gas stations in Bulgaria have increased over the past three months – gasoline by 21.86%, diesel fuel by 26.27%.

According to bourgas.ru, fuel prices at filling stations in Bulgaria have increased over the past three months – gasoline by 21.86%, diesel fuel by 26.27%. This is evidenced by the data on the Fuelo platform.

If on February 7, a liter of A95 gasoline was sold at 2.47 levs, today its average price is 3.01 levs per liter. A more serious increase is observed between March 2 and 3, when the price jumps from BGN 2.68 per liter to BGN 2.78. After March 11, the price stabilized at around BGN 2.90 per litre. In April, the price increased to 2.95 leva per litre. After April 27, gasoline prices rose sharply. Until then, its average price does not exceed 2.95 leva per liter, and then jumps up to 3.01 leva. Prices in various networks of gas stations today vary from 2.90 to 3.08 leva per liter.

The average price of diesel fuel over the past three months has increased by BGN 0.67. per liter (26.27%) – also with an upward trend. On February 7, this liter of fuel was sold at BGN 2.55, today it is sold at an average of BGN 3.22 per liter, according to Fuelo. Diesel follows the same price dynamics as gasoline. The increase starts after March 2, and at the end of March the average price reaches BGN 3. per litre, after which it gradually increases. From May 3 to May 5, the price of diesel fuel increased significantly – from BGN 3.15 per liter to BGN 3.21 per liter. According to information on the platform’s website, today diesel fuel at various gas stations is sold at prices ranging from 3.13 levs per liter to 3.26 levs per liter.

During the three-month period under review, an average increase of BGN 0.22 per liter (15.83%) was also registered for propane-butane, from BGN 1.39 to BGN 1.61 per liter. Prices for this type of fuel follow the same price dynamics as for gasoline and diesel fuel. The sharpest increase occurred from 1 to 3 March – from 1.44 leva per liter to 1.53 leva per liter. Then propane-butane begins to rise gradually, without sharp fluctuations. Prices at individual filling stations in the country today range from 1.54 leva per liter to 1.67 leva per liter.

According to Fuelo, over the past three months, the average price of methane has increased by an average of BGN 0.61 per kilogram (21.33%) with an upward trend. On February 7, methane at gas stations in the country cost 2.86 leva per kilogram, and today an average of 3.47 leva per kilogram. However, the prices for this type of fuel differ from the prices for gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied gas. Until the beginning of April, methane maintained an average price between 2.85 and 2.89 leva per kilogram, but from 3 to 6 April, its price rose sharply – from 2.93 leva per kilogram to 3.13 leva. Only in the last month, methane has risen in price by 0.33 leva per kilogram (10.51%) with an upward trend. The platform claims that today methane is sold in Bulgaria from 3.16 to 3.98 leva per kilogram.
