One of the founders of Pussy Riot, Tolokonnikova, was arrested in absentia in Russia.

Moscow City Court overturned the refusal of the capital court to arrest in absentia one of the founders of Pussy Riot Nadezhda Tolokonnikova (recognized Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation foreign agent), in the case of insulting the feelings of believers. This is reported “News” with reference to the press service of the court.

The judge placed Tolokonnikova under arrest in absentia for two months.

A criminal case against Tolokonnikova was opened in March after her publication on social networks. In this case passed a series of searches. The location of their holding, as well as the content of the posts, are not disclosed.

Previously the prosecutor’s office filed an appeal against the refusal of the capital’s court to issue a warrant for the arrest in absentia of a Pussy Riot member. The department appealed the decision, which did not satisfy the investigators’ request.
