A “Garden of Memory” was laid on the territory of the Yerakhtursky forestry of the Shilovsky district

On May 13, in the Yerakhtursky forestry of the Shilovsky district, on the lands of the forest fund, a “Garden of Memory” was laid in honor of ten fellow countrymen of the Heroes of the Soviet Union. A veteran of the armed forces, Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Fateev, a resident of the village of Yerakhtur, took part in the international action. The meeting was greeted by the Minister of Natural Resources of the Ryazan region Alexander Novikov and the head of the district administration Vladimir Lukantsov. Among the participants were employees of all subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Natural Resources, representatives of forestry in the region; civil servants, schoolchildren, students of the Ryazan Agrotechnological University. On this day, Ivan Manakin, head of the Department of Protection, Protection and Reproduction of Forests of the Regional Ministry of Natural Resources, was awarded the Gratitude of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Ryazan Region. The certificate of honor of the head of the district administration was presented to the head of the Yerakhtur forestry, Elena Sinetova. Participants of the action planted about seven thousand seedlings of Scots pine and several other tree species. The area of ​​the new summer is about 1.7 hectares. Master classes on weaving and making birdhouses were held here. The audience watched the concert. At which the artists of the district recreation center performed.
