
According to data billionaires index (Bloomberg Billionaires Index), as of Monday, of the 10 richest people in the world, six represent the technology sector.
The first place is occupied by the owner of the companies, Twitter, SpaceX and Tesla, American Elon Musk, his fortune is estimated at 175 billion dollars (10.9 trillion rubles). Second place belongs to the Frenchman Bernard Arnault, president and chairman of the LVMH Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton group, working in the field of luxury goods with a fortune of 167 billion dollars (10.4 trillion rubles).

Third place went to Indian Gautam Adani, founder of the Adani Group, which specializes in port management, mining and other businesses. Bloomberg estimates his fortune at $126 billion (7.9 trillion rubles).
Among other representatives of the IT industry, only Americans got into the top ten richest people in the world: Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates – 4th place and $ 114 billion (7.1 trillion rubles), Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (Jeff Bezos) – 5th place and $ 112 billion ( 10 trillion rubles), co-founder of Oracle Larry Ellison (Larry Ellison) – 7th place and 93.1 billion dollars (5.8 trillion rubles).
The top ten is closed by the former head of Microsoft Steve Ballmer (Steve Ballmer) – 9th place and 87 billion dollars (5.4 trillion rubles), the developer and co-founder of the Google search engine Larry Page (Larry Page) – 10th place and 86.6 billion dollars (5. 4 trillion rubles).
