Comedies filmed in the USSR, even years later, delight the audience with humor and favorite images. However, even outstanding filmmakers are not immune from mistakes. Movie bloopers are found even in the best films. Sometimes they appear due to the usual oversight, but in some situations they are provoked by technical difficulties when working on a picture.
So, in the cult comedy by Leonid Gaidai “Ivan Vasilyevich changes his profession” there are several inconsistencies at once. Some of them immediately catch the eye, some viewers are not aware of even with repeated viewings. However, this does not detract from the audience’s love.
Money
Georges Miloslavsky urges viewers to keep money in a savings bank, while in one of the shots the burglar holds not banknotes, but bonds.
dressing up
Another frank film blunder is also associated with the hero of Leonid Kuravlev. In Shpak’s apartment, he tries on the owner’s expensive things. In the scene where he moves to Shurik, it is clear that he appropriated the jacket. However, he is already wearing completely different pants and a shirt.
Bobbin of different color
Another film blunder can be seen if you carefully look at the reel of the tape recorder. She is white at the moment when Miloslavsky robs Shpak’s apartment. In the scene where George gets to Shurik, she already turns red.
Tube on threads
The following situation should be considered not as a blunder, but rather as an inaccuracy. In the scene where Bunsh’s building manager is trying to call for help, Miloslavsky orders the phone to be hung up. She returns to the apparatus and at this moment you can see the thin threads with which she was lowered. The directors simply could not carry out the author’s idea in a different way.
Aquarium and liquid in the time machine
There are several inconsistencies in successive frames at once. So, the liquid in the time machine turns from transparent to red. At the same time, the water in the aquarium becomes cloudy, and fish appear in it.
Helmet
In the palace, Bunsha and Georges drop the helmet from the knight’s armor, but in the next scene, when the guards run past, the helmet is in its original place.
Movements
Bunsha hides from the guards in a chest, barely fitting in one corner. However, when the door opens, the hero finds himself on the opposite side of the chest.
Disappeared vodka
In the scene with Ivan the Terrible and Shurik, the vodka simply disappears from the glass, and in the next scene the tsar pours it again.
Dagger
When the disguised king sits in an armchair, the dagger either lies on the table or disappears.
Crossed with three fingers
Ivan the Terrible is baptized with three fingers. There is a historical inconsistency here. The fact is that during his reign in Rus’ this was done with two fingers.
