Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg does not believe in a quick victory for Ukraine. He believes that the feeling of the triumph of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is deceptive.

The head of the North Atlantic alliance is confident that Russia will not give up its plans to subjugate Ukraine. He believes that the Russian Armed Forces are planning a new offensive, which is why Stoltenberg called on the countries of Europe and the United States to prepare for a protracted conflict in Ukraine

He believes that the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should not be misleading and create a deceptive feeling of an imminent victory for Kyiv.

Stoltenberg explained that military assistance to Ukraine should be continued.

“Most of….* end in peace negotiations. Most likely, the same will happen with this one….*. But we also know that the conditions on which peace will be concluded for Ukraine completely depend on the balance of forces on the battlefield,” — Stoltenberg expressed his opinion.

Earlier, Jens Stoltenberg expressed confidence that Russia was going to freeze the Ukrainian conflict in order to start new offensive.
