The St. Petersburg plant of the Japanese auto concern Toyota dismissed by agreement of the parties most of the employees of the enterprise. The remaining 137 people will be laid off by the end of 2022. About this with reference to the press service of the company informs TASS.
As early as November 16, 1937 employees of the plant were in idle time – since that moment 1800 people have been fired.
What will happen to the employees. “Paper” contacted 13 laid-off Toyota employees. They said they signed a non-disclosure agreement. They were unable to share details about the terms of the cut. But they said that they received good payments, and in addition, they extended the VMI.
“Employees who leave by agreement of the parties will receive significant compensation payments and retain VMI for a year after the dismissal. The employer compensates for the costs of training or retraining of employees. wrote in October, the vice-governor of the city, Valery Moskalenko.
According to TASS, employees will receive a payment of 12 salaries, as well as compensation for training and advanced training in the amount of up to 50 thousand rubles.
“The situation with Toyota did not affect the growth of unemployment. The city has a high demand for production personnel, so the employment service is ready to help all those who have left the enterprise in employment if they have a desire to find a new job, ”TASS was told in the Committee on Labor and Employment of the Population of St. Petersburg.
