Robostep competitions, in which children and teenagers of all ages can take part, will start in a few days.

According to the organizers of the tournament “Robostep”, the competition in the category “Here and Now” will be held in full-time format, will begin on December 12th and end on December 25th. The task of its participants will be the creation of a moving robot. Moscow schoolchildren will have to use algorithms for calculating precise movements and sensors in order to navigate the field.
The guys will have a hard time – they will have to design and program their models so that the robots perform certain tasks in a clearly defined time. This will be a preparation for the spring tournament, which will be held in late April or early May next year.
At the competition, schoolchildren will show everything they have learned in the robotics classes. The time allotted for completing tasks will be limited, according to the organizers of the Robostep tournament.
In 2022, a new category “Training of Olympiad problems of the All-Russian Olympiad and the Moscow Olympiad in Robotics” was introduced into the competition.
You can participate in it throughout the academic year and send a video to the jury. Young roboticists can register on the tournament website where there is a timetable and rules.
Formerly online edition “Teacher’s newspaper” told about a schoolboy from Tyumen who won the All-Russian competition in robotics. Dmitry Kaigorodov became the first in the Seeker nomination. The competitions were held in Sochi as part of the second Congress of Young Scientists.
