More than a hundred residents of Shat became participants in the Memory Bike Ride
In Shatsk, on the eve of Victory Day, a bike ride was held in memory of fellow countrymen who participated in the Great Patriotic War. More than a hundred people from Shatsk gathered on May 6 near the building of the motorcade, from which the race began.
The head of the department for youth policy, physical culture and sports, Larisa Shishkova, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. She thanked everyone who came to the event and expressed her hope that such a bike ride would become an annual good tradition for the city.
The cyclists rode from the convoy to the obelisk. A rally was held at the foot of the monument. The protesters honored the memory of the fallen defenders of the Motherland with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the obelisk.
