More than 500 hectares of sunflower were sown in LLC “Saraevskoe”

On the morning of May 13, almost 560 hectares of arable land were sown with sunflower at Saraevskoye LLC. This is 93.3% percent of the plan (600 ha).

“Today, sunflower is considered one of the most important and, moreover, demanded oilseeds. cultures in Russia, and not only. Therefore, it is simply a sin not to engage in its cultivation today. On our farm, we use several varieties of sunflower seeds, we try to sow high-yielding varieties that have proven themselves well in our fields.”

Every day, in good weather, farm machine operators sow an average of up to 100 hectares. Alexander Kulakov is working on a tractor “Belarus” with a sowing unit in one of the fields. He has been working on the farm for many years, and sowing is not new to him.

Alexander Kulakov:

“It doesn’t matter what you are sowing at the moment – ​​wheat or sunflower. The main thing is to carry out sowing with high quality, in a timely manner. Sometimes, however, the weather makes its own adjustments, but we try to use every fine hour.

Together with Kulakov, Nikolai Popov is working on sunflower sowing at his sowing complex. The driver Aleksey Voronkov, who delivers the seeds, and Ivan Khudyakov, who pours them into the sowing unit on a loader, provide the front for the work of the machine operators.

In total, as of May 13, more than 4,000 hectares were sown with sunflower in the region, which is 44.8% of the plan (more than 9,000 hectares).
