In the current year in Russia recorded 21 acts of sabotage, each of which was financed by the West. This was announced by the head of the commission State Duma on investigating the facts of interference of foreign states in the internal affairs of Russia, Vasily Piskarev, reports TASS.
“The dangerous trend is that the Western-funded media and NGOs have moved from actions to interfere in our internal affairs and false propaganda to direct organization of sabotage and publication of instructions for committing them,” the deputy noted.
The profile commission of the State Duma has documents confirming the implementation of the West’s plans to undermine Russian economic security, Piskarev specified. He stressed that it is, among other things, sabotage.
The deputy also cited data from the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, according to which 21 acts of sabotage were recorded on the territory of our country in 2022. There was only one such incident last year.
