For two weeks in Moscow more than 100% of the monthly rainfall fell. This was informed by the leading specialist of the center weather “Phobos” Evgeny Tishkovets.
According to weather forecasts, snowfalls in the capital will continue until 07:00-09:00 Friday. Snow cover will grow from 18 to 22 cm.
So, for half of December, 112% of the monthly rainfall fell in Moscow.
At the same time, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, warned Muscovites about snowfalls and snow drifts on Friday, December 16. At the same time, on Saturday, December 17, the influence of cyclonic circulation will lead to heavy snow.
