AT Moldova The leader of the ruling Action and Solidarity party, Speaker of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, made a statement that he was looking for ways to replace the phrase “Moldovan language” with the phrase “Romanian language” in the country’s Constitution. About it writes RIA Novosti.

He stated that “the Romanian language will replace the syntagm “Moldovan language” in the legislation and the Constitution by the spring of 2023.” According to Grosu, he is now studying the possibility of correcting this “historical mistake”.

Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu called on the Ukrainian authorities to recognize that the Moldovan language does not exist.

It also became known that the Moldovan authorities decided to suspend the activities of six media outlets because of their approach to covering events in the republic, as well as around Ukraine.

Transnistrian Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev said that Moldova is exerting economic pressure on the unrecognized republic.
