Miss Universe 2022, R’Bonney Gabriel of the USA, has issued a statement in the midst of his resignation to be Miss USA and the innumerable accusations of fraud after her victory in the universal beauty contest, where the vast majority affirm that the representative of Venezuela, Amanda Dudamel Newman, was really the winner.
On January 14 of this year, was the date where the 71st edition of Miss Universe was held, whose headquarters was the city of New Orleans, United States, and where the local candidate was crowned in the midst of a great controversy that she has sold accompanied by harsh accusations of fraud.
Adding to that, yesterday it was learned that the new sovereign of universal beauty has renounced her duties as Miss USA, since she will not be able to fulfill them due to the new agenda she has obtained after being chosen as Miss Universe.
In a recent statement made by the 28-year-old beauty queen, the young woman stated that the accusations against her were “hurtful” but despite everything, she is focused on succeeding and showing that her title has been earned with a lot of effort.
“You know, I have to be honest, it’s very painful. It’s very daunting because I’ve put my heart and soul into it. And I hope people can see that. However, in this competition, I know that there are always rumors that can start.
«Sometimes I say, ‘It’s another day, another rumor’, and you have to take it with a grain of salt. I’ve been through this before because I won Miss USA. That was out in the public eye and the tampering allegations were also shown to be false. Even so, it was all very painful.”
“I really learned to focus my energy inward and realized that at the end of the day, I have to be thankful for this opportunity. And I feel like the more successful you are, the more the world sees you. There will always be people trying to bring you down.”
“But being in the public eye, I think this is a great opportunity to show resilience and just keep moving forward… I’m focused on my ultimate goal. I am focused on succeeding and being positive in a world of negativity,” said the beauty queen.
Much of the accusations of fraud of his victory are based on the fact that the new owner of the contest, the Thai transgender tycoon Anne Jakrajutatip, she is also the new owner of the organization Miss USA, for which a large part of the media affirmed that the local candidate was crowned to obtain again all the investment made in the universal contest.
And you, what do you think of the statements of r’bonney Gabriel?
