If in winter APU will not launch a large-scale offensive, this will show the depletion of their resources. This was announced in an interview with KP by military observer Vladislav Shurygin.

According to him, the Ukrainian command sent a huge number of reserves near Artemovsk. There were also huge losses.

“For which the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny received the nickname “Bakhmut executioner,” the specialist noted.

The expert believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine may attempt an offensive in local areas, since they will not pull a global attack due to a lack of forces.

“They will simply be forced to carry out winter offensive operations. They can’t just sit on the defensive. After all, this means completely giving the initiative to us. But there are no fools sitting in the command, ”concluded the analyst.

Recall that on Thursday, February 24, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, in his address to the citizens of the Russian Federation, announced the start of a military special operations in Donbass. He stressed that Moscow’s plans do not include the occupation of Kyiv, but it will strive with all its might to demilitarize Ukraine.

As the Public News Service wrote earlier, Kyiv may be provided with combat aircraft for smart bombs, but Russia could prevent the West from making the transfer, Yuri Netkachev said.

According to him, the course of the special operation should be changed to Western Ukraine in order to cut off the country from supplies from other states.
