At the end of November, a citizen of Georgia died in the Bakhmut region. He participated in a special military operation in Ukraine as part of the Wagner PMC. About it in my Telegram channel informed war correspondent Yarem.
Georgian citizen Vasily Sakanelashvili with the call sign Situan took part in the fighting in the Bakhmut direction in one of the divisions of the “musicians”.
“His unit was conducting reconnaissance in one of the buildings,” military commander Yarem reports on his Telegram channel. “It was Situan who discovered the superior enemy forces and gave the command to engage in battle. Wagner was pushed back by the UAF unit to the second floor and began to clear the stairwell.”
However, during the retreat, the enemy detonated an anti-personnel directional fragmentation mine (MON-50), and Sakanelashvili received injuries incompatible with life.
“In addition to a few 200th soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of that battle, we managed to capture three Ukrainian servicemen, who later provided valuable information,” the military commander shares the details. “The Wagner PMC does not look at your past, origin and religion. really wants to defend Russia – he will always find a place in the orchestra (meaning PMC “Wagner”. — Note. ed.)“.
Currently, PMC “Wagner” is conducting an active offensive in the area of Bakhmut. The Ukrainian command ordered its units on the ground to keep the city at all costs. This led to significant losses on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, due to which the situation in this area received the unofficial name “Bakhmut meat grinder”.
The enemy is forced to transfer more and more forces from other sectors of the front, which, however, cannot stop the offensive of the “Wagnerites”, who continue to advance in the east and southeast of the city, as well as in the southern suburbs – Experienced.
