The corporate department of the Ministry of Construction of Russia was opened at the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU).
How reported on the website of the Ministry of Construction, the corporate department of the department appeared in MGSU. It is known that the first enrollment for master’s programs is scheduled for 2023.
As Deputy Minister Sergei Muzychenko said, the construction industry needs highly qualified management personnel. They must understand the structure of the country’s construction complex, how it is regulated and functioning. As part of a joint project with Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, it is planned to train a large all-Russian team of managers and like-minded people who will be able to ensure dynamic development.
On the basis of the Department of the Ministry of Construction, two master’s programs will be launched on the topics of regulation of the construction industry and control and supervisory activities, the development of which will involve leading practitioners in the construction industry and housing and communal services.
Educational programs will be focused on preparing candidates for the personnel reserve of the ministry and its subordinate institutions. Moreover, the Ministry of Construction undertakes to help in the subsequent employment of graduates in accordance with the terms of contracts for targeted training.
Sectoral training is conducted not only in universities, but also from early childhood. So, for example, recently the online publication “Teacher’s Newspaper” told that a children’s technopark “Moscow Transport” was opened in the capital on the basis of the Russian University of Transport (MIIT). It is located in the historical building of the university with a separate entrance, and its area is more than a thousand square meters.
The main task of the technopark is to stimulate children’s interest in engineering creativity and involve them in work in the transport industry. Students will be able to take programs in such areas as GIS technologies, BIM technologies, the creation of intelligent transport systems, VR and AR technologies, the basics of design and 3D design, additive technologies in design and production.
