President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the problems in the process of forming a united gas market with Russia. His words were heard as part of the speech of the head of state at a meeting on Belarusian-Russian cooperation. This is reported by the agency “BelTA”.

“Let me remind you that the union program for the formation of a united gas market provides for specific measures and deadlines, which, unfortunately, in my opinion, have not been implemented. They are simply thwarted,” the Belarusian leader said.

In addition, Lukashenka stressed that special attention is paid to the pricing of energy resources in the process of implementing union programs. This is due to the fact that the competitiveness of the economy directly depends on the cost of this product. Belarus.

The head of state also addressed the government of Belarus with a demand to strictly follow the course aimed at the implementation of allied programs with Russia.
