The president Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree according to which foreign property can be seized in the country after hostile actions against the country. The document was published on the national legal portal.

In the event that legal entities or individuals commit unfriendly actions against the republic, the authorities may seize objects of property rights. This applies to securities, money, property rights in favor of Belarus.

The decision will be made by the Council of Ministers, then the State Committee on Property applies to the Economic Court of Minsk. The seizure of property is carried out as a response to unfriendly actions.

Earlier, Lukashenka announced the need to speed up the construction of Belarusian ports in Russia. “At the level of the President of Russia, all issues regarding the opening of ports for us have been resolved. But, as always, the last stop is to start loading into these ports. But we have already started uploading something,” Lukashenka said.
