Danish director Lars von Trier (Dancer in the Dark, Nymphomaniac) who is struggling with Parkinson’s disease spoke about his new project. An interview with the director is published by the Italian edition of Corriere.

The director, he said, plans to create a “database” that will contain a variety of materials about working in the film industry.

“The idea is that anyone who is involved with cinema or wants to do it can consult this base. I was very lucky: I was able to do what I wanted, when I wanted. I consider it my duty to share my experience,” he said.

Also, the great film director, who is struggling with Parkinson’s disease, complained about loneliness.

“At this point in my life, I am painfully lonely. I have always believed that loneliness is strength, but I have to admit how painful it can be, ”complained the cinematographer.
