Journalist Otar Kushanashvili did not support the persecution of Alla Pugacheva, which the singer had to face after leaving Russia. He also remembered how a few years ago the prima donna tried to sue the host.

“He said that we had a skirmish with her. She was drunk, she reprimanded me for my behavior in the Sharks of the Pen program. And I answered: “Go to hell, Przhevalsky’s horse!” She pushed me, I hit her … ”, Kushanashvili said.

He admitted that he invented this story and that this had never happened in his life. The journalist could not explain why he needed to say this to the whole country.

Kushanashvili added that after that he met with Pugacheva at a social event and he had to explain himself to the star for his behavior.

“Pugacheva comes up to me at the presentation and says: “What are you? Out of your mind?! I will devote my life to rotting you in the dungeons. You will be the first journalist to go to jail for lying,” he recalled.

A criminal libel case was initiated, in which Kushanashvili was threatened with a prison term of up to four years. However, Pugacheva eventually forgave him, but on one condition.

“On the second day, Alla says: “Okay, on your knees. Kiss the hands.” Then the newspapers described that I had shown cowardice. It didn’t occur to anyone that I wasn’t a bastard, but that I was drunk and lying. I asked for forgiveness and swept the streets for three months, ”the journalist finished the story.
