The winner of the regional competition and laureate of the All-Russian competition “Teacher of the Year of Russia – 2022” Ekaterina Shcherbakova received the position of Advisor to the Minister of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Krasnodar Territory.

Press Service of the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory reportedthat it is important for regional authorities to hear and take into account the opinion of the pedagogical community in order to respond to teachers’ requests in a timely manner. In order to establish interaction at the regional level, meetings and professional competitions are held, during which teachers express their ideas. Often their proposals are supported and implemented by local authorities.
So, at the initiative of young teachers, expressed at a meeting with the Governor, a new measure of social support was introduced, which came into force on September 1, 2022. All teachers received regional payments in the amount of five thousand rubles. Also, at the initiative of the pedagogical community, awards were introduced for teachers whose students passed the USE with 100 points.
