Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klichkov on Saturday, December 17, in his Telegram channel reported on the situation in the capital Ukraine after the previous day’s shelling.
According to him, some Kievans are still left without heat and light. At the same time, the water supply was restored for everyone.
“Half of the people of Kiev are already warm, and we are working to restore it to all residents of the city. With energy supply now 2/3 of Kiev. But emergency shutdown schedules apply,” he wrote.
Klitschko also noted a significant shortage of electricity in the capital.
Recall that on the morning of Friday, December 16, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine, after which local media began to report explosions in different regions of the country.
Earlier, the director of the Energy Research Center of Ukraine Oleksandr Kharchenko said that it was impossible to provide half of the consumers with light in the country. According to him, there is no technical possibility for this in Ukraine. Read more about this in material Public news service.
