Resident Kyiv faces up to 12 years in prison for attempting to steal Banksy’s “Woman in a Gas Mask” graffiti in Gostomel. This was reported in the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the report, the Ukrainian wanted to dismantle the work of art, sell and dispose of the money received “at his own discretion.”

However, he did not succeed in bringing his plan to life. Now he faces up to 12 years in prison.

Recall that before Banksy openly admitted the creation of seven graffiti on the territory of Ukraine. It was about work in Kyiv, Irpen and Borodianka.

Earlier, the Public News Service wrote that honorary citizen of the city Irpen in Ukraine became the British street artist Banksy. Thus, the leadership of the city noted the attraction of Banksy’s attention of the world community to the consequences of hostilities in the city.
