Prime Minister Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and his new government will be less likely to openly speak out on the situation in Ukraine. This was stated by Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.

On the issue of relations between Russia and Ukraine we will definitely do one thing – we will speak less openly, ”Haretz quotes the speaker.

The Israeli Foreign Minister did not talk about the supply of weapons to Kyiv. At the same time, he stressed that Tel Aviv would continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.

Cohen also said that he plans to hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. According to the Times of Israel, this could happen on January 3rd.
