The authorities of three constituent entities of our country have introduced short-term anti-epidemic restrictions, in particular, a week-long quarantine for all schoolchildren.
Remote format for organizing the educational process planned from 17 to 24 December for all students of Tambov. From December 16, the children will stay at home and continue studying the program using remote technologies. Similar restrictions are being introduced for additional education institutions, the Center for Curative Pedagogics and Differentiated Education, the Cossack Cadet School named after Count I.I. Demin.
According to official information, the number of ARVI cases among schoolchildren in grades 1-11 has increased by 2.6 times, which is higher than the national average in this age group.
The incidence rate in Pskov also shows a sharp jump. The epidemic threshold in the city has been exceeded by 155%. Children make up the bulk of the patients.
In connection with the negative statistics, it was accepted solution on the temporary transfer of all students to a remote format. The restrictions will last from 19 to 25 December.
According to the governor of the region, the authorities are doing everything possible to protect the health of children. A week-long quarantine will have a positive impact on the incidence rate and will allow you to celebrate the New Year without restrictions.
Tyumen schoolchildren were also sent to the distance. Due to the increase in the incidence rate by 40%, schools and institutions of additional education, culture and sports of the city have crossed remotely or temporarily suspended their activities from December 15 to 23.
Local authorities have taken a set of measures to combat the epidemic, including a ban on visiting social and medical institutions, as well as an enhanced disinfection regime at transport hubs and in crowded centers. It is noted that among all identified cases, influenza A (H1N1) -2009, the so-called “swine flu”, is the most common.

The authorities of Yekaterinburg and Lipetsk did not limit themselves to a week-long quarantine. In order to effectively counter the viral infection, both regions sent all students to distance learning from December 19 until the end of this year.
According to the Rospotrebnadzor department for the Lipetsk region, influenza B accounts for 66% of the viruses detected in the region. The incidence rate is growing rapidly. Over the past week, 14,000 cases have been identified, including 7,750 children under the age of 14.

Yekaterina Sibirtseva, Deputy Head of Yekaterinburg, also commented on the epidemic situation in the city and reportedthat the education system of the region is ready for a full-fledged educational process in a remote format. Teachers worked out this algorithm during covid restrictions.
Sibirtseva noted that as of December 16, 2,000 children have the flu, 234 classes have already been quarantined. The introduction of restrictive measures will make it possible to separate children’s groups and interrupt the spread of infection.
