Vidnovsky City Court of the Moscow Region will consider criminal cases against the head of the Razvilkovsky Department of the Police Department Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky urban district and his subordinate – law enforcement officers are suspected of corruption. About this “Tape.ru” was told by the official representative of the Moscow Region Department Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR) Olga Vradiy.
Between December 2020 and July 2022, the chief of police reportedly took bribes from a representative of a private homeowner through an intermediary. The police officers had to turn a blind eye to the fact that the two houses housed an illegal hostel for foreign citizens.
It turned out that the entrepreneur paid 10-15 thousand rubles a month for each hotel.
It is specified that the intermediary was a subordinate employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the moment, a case has been initiated on the fact of the incident under part 3 of article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Mediation in bribery”) and paragraph “c” of part 5 of article 290 (“Receiving a bribe”).
