All objects of Vinnytsia Oblast Ukraine, with the exception of critical infrastructure, will be disconnected from the power supply. This was stated by the General Director of JSC “Vinnytsyaoblenergo” Andrey Polishchuk on the air of the radio station “Place over the Bug”. The broadcast took place on Facebook (a social network banned in the Russian Federation, owned by a recognized extremist in Russia and also banned by Meta).
According to Polishchuk, it is planned to optimize this shutdown. According to the plans, each critical infrastructure enterprise should be powered from different sources and be connected to at least two lines.
He also added that even private houses located on the same line with critical infrastructure facilities will still be disconnected from the electricity supply. In his opinion, this will contribute to ensuring social justice.
The announced shutdowns are expected to last throughout the winter.
Earlier, the Public News Service reported that Ukrainian Minister Mykola Sokolsky denied the possibility of stopping the export of grain from Odessa due to power outages in the city. According to him, such a possibility is not even discussed by grain sellers, and the energy supply of the ports is carried out by alternative methods.
