According to the air alert map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, sirens sounded in a number of regions of the country on Friday, December 16. This was reported by the RIA Novosti agency.
It is specified that at about 08:05 Odessa and Nikolaev regions were highlighted in red. Sirens were heard in the Ukrainian territory of the Kherson region.
Recall that on Monday morning, October 10, Ukrainian journalists reported explosions in various Ukrainian regions. The strikes caused damage to infrastructure facilities, which led to problems with electricity in the state. Air alert on Ukrainian territory was announced in the following days.
Earlier, the Public News Service reported that, according to the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov, funds Air defense in the state began to work more efficiently in December. Based on his statement, this figure increased from 50 to 80%. So, the minister spoke about 60 missiles shot down out of 70 fired at Ukraine on December 5.
