In the Kaluga region on the highway M-3 “Ukraine” there was an ammonia leak after accidents with a tanker truck. One person died as a result of the accident. This information was shared by representatives of emergency services.
“In the area of the 281st km of the M-3 “Ukraine” highway, an accident occurred involving three trucks. As a result, a tank with ammonia overturned, a vapor leak occurred, ”the message says.
The tank contained about eight cubic meters of ammonia. So, to neutralize its vapors, experts put a water curtain. At the current time, traffic on the highway is temporarily stopped.
Earlier, as the Public News Service reported, the BMW driver who staged a fatal car accident in the Russian capital, turned out to be the general director of an enterprise near Moscow. Behind the wheel was the head of the Podolsk LLC “Regionstroy” Ilya Astanovsky.
The incident took place on the evening of the fifteenth of December. The foreign car hit two people who were at the bus stop, and also crashed into another car. Later, information was received, according to which one person died as a result of an accident, two more were injured.
