Irina Volynets, Commissioner for Children’s Rights in Tatarstan, founder of the National Parents’ Committee, made such a proposal. She sent her appeal to the chairman of the Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children, Nina Ostanina.
According to the Ombudsman, this idea appeared at the strategic sessions of the Demographic Forum “Generation-2050”, which went on for two months in the republic. The forum even presented a roadmap for the All-Russian holiday of gratitude to parents “Thank you for life!”. She received the support of a grand jury.
Volynets stressed that for parents this holiday will mean better relations with children, prevention of lonely old age. For children – the joy of communicating with mom and dad, warm relationships in the family. And for the state – the creation of a special culture of the relationship of children to parents, the strengthening of family values, reports RT.
The Ombudsman asked Nina Ostanina to support this proposal and initiate development of a draft normative legal act.
Formerly online edition “Teacher’s newspaper” reportedthat the commissioner for children’s rights in Tatarstan proposed to expand the possibilities of using the mother’s capital and allow the use of these funds for treatment in sanatoriums. According to Volynets, families with children who suffer from various diseases will receive support in this way.
