Starting January 1st, at Moscow will index by 10% all major social payments. It is reported by TASS.

The minimum pension, including the city supplement, will reach 23,313 rubles. The press service of the mayor and government of Moscow stressed that social benefits would increase almost twice as much as the projected growth in capital budget revenues (5.7% in 2023).

At the same time, the amount of indexation of payments will be higher compared to the percentage increase in tariffs for utilities (9%) and travel in transport (8%).

All previously established benefits and discounts will be retained in the form in which they are agreed to date.

Earlier, the Public News Service reported that the first single payments to families with children and pregnant women who need social support will be received in January next year. This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov.
