According to the association for the protection of consumer rights Codacons, the Italians are expected to have a negative effect from the energy crisis this year. The relevant information was published by ANSA.

According to the forecast, families in Italy will be forced to spend more on average by 2,435 euros.

“The effects of the energy crisis will be felt throughout 2023 and will have a direct impact on retail prices and tariffs. In particular, increased prices for food products will remain, the growth in the cost of services will resume, ”the publication emphasized.

At the same time, it became known that since the beginning of this year, the cost of travel on public and private transport will rise in price, because the discount on gasoline has been suspended in the country.
