In order for United Nations experts (UN) could get acquainted with the state of affairs in Crimea personally, and not from other people’s words, the authorities of the peninsula are ready to receive guests. This was pointed out by the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov.

Recall that before the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution prepared by the representatives of Ukraine condemning the alleged violations of human rights. In the Telegram channel, Konstantinov indicated that “UN experts are watching rights from around the corner.”

“We are always ready to let them into our territory so that they can get acquainted with the state of affairs in this matter directly, and not from other people’s words. But it’s more convenient for them to do it from other people’s words,” the parliamentarian wrote.

Earlier, Australian journalists indicated that the Ukrainian authorities were ready to give up their claims to Crimea in order to start negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The authors noted that such tactics would indicate a direction towards diplomacy.
