Ministry of Resorts and Tourism Republic of Crimea predicted the flow of tourists in the region of five million people by the end of 2023. This forecast of tourist flow was announced by the head of the region’s Ministry of Resorts Vadim Volchenkoreports the Lenta.ru correspondent.
He clarified that by November 1 there are 4.7 million tourists. “I don’t like forecasts, but I think we will definitely have about five million tourists,” Volchenko said. According to him, the current occupancy level of hotels and inns is comparable to last year.
The head of the Ministry of Resorts of Crimea noted that the New Year holidays are loaded quite well – about 25-30 percent. At the same time, prices are lower than in other previous periods. He emphasized that the tourism sector works quite effectively. However, the profitability is less than in the previous period, Volchenko added.
