Near Chelyabinsk, in Chebarkul, police detained a mother who had beaten a one-year-old child because of loud crying. This was announced on Monday, December 12, to Lente.ru by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Chelyabinsk Region.
The incident became known from the head of the children’s department of the district hospital. On December 9, doctors examined the baby and diagnosed him with a fracture of the vault and base of the skull. He was taken to the emergency room and the police were called.
The police found out that in the evening earlier, the mother of 27 years old was unhappy that her child was crying loudly. First, the girl hit him several times and then threw him to the floor. The throw was so strong that the baby broke his head. The hospital confirmed that the mother and child had been examined since November 9, 2022 due to SARS.
The police could establish that this was not the first time the girl had beaten her child. In May, a mother’s relative contacted the law enforcement agencies and said that the girl was beating her son. The first time she was fined. Later, in July, the mother again beat the child, which led to the institution of a criminal case for battery. He was taken to court.

“As part of the investigation, the woman was sent for a forensic psychiatric examination, according to the results of which she was registered,” added the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Chelyabinsk Region.
The police sent information about the beating of the child to the organs of the prevention system, but no action was taken.
Now a criminal case has been initiated against the girl for attempted murder, and since December 11 she has been in a pre-trial detention center. In addition, the police took care of the guardianship. An investigation into the agency’s negligence has been launched.
Now the case is under the control of the prosecutor’s office, and doctors are fighting for the boy’s life.
