As stated in the message, the requirement so far applies only to employees of organizations. This decision was made on December 12 at a meeting of the sanitary and anti-epidemic commission.

After inspections in the region, it turned out that many employees of various organizations already wear personal protective equipment on an ongoing basis. For visitors, the mask mode is advisory in nature.

In addition, filters and disinfection regime have been strengthened in educational, cultural and sports institutions. Spectators will also be required to wear masks during sporting events.

Meanwhile, across the country, many educational institutions are closed for quarantine due to the high incidence of influenza and SARS. So, for example, in the Astrakhan region, in whole or in part closed about 80 educational institutions. Three schools have completely canceled classes. At 23, training takes place remotely. In another 50 educational institutions, individual classes and groups have been transferred to distance learning or quarantined. Some schools have extended holidays.
