Prime Minister’s ruling party Hungary Viktor Orban Fidesz hung posters on the streets of the country calling on people not to obey the demands of the leader European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. This is reported by Reuters.
According to the publication, on the eve of the start of the election campaign in European Parliament in June 2024, advertising posters featuring von der Leyen and Alex Soros, the son of a liberal financier of Hungarian origin, were installed in Hungary George Soros. “Let’s not dance to their tune,” says the advertising slogan.
It is noted that Fidesz already placed similar billboards in 2019, but then they depicted the former head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and George Soros.
The publication also clarified that Hungary will be the central topic at the next summit European Union in mid-December due to connections with Russia and skepticism about Ukraine.
Formerly political advisor and namesake of Hungarian Prime Minister Balázs Orbán statedthat the majority of Europeans, when asked whether they want war with Russia, will answer negatively.
