The sinking of the Titanic was one of the greatest tragedies of the last century. By mystical coincidence, this story repeats itself 111 years later.
Today the whole world will survive the fate of five tourists who ended up in a submarine. They dove underwater to view the sunken Titanic, but almost immediately after the dive, their ship disappeared from the radar.
Just a day later, one of the crew members got in touch. He said that they are all alive and waiting for help. There are no other details yet. There is a version that the submarine was trapped in the wreckage at a depth of almost four meters. The ship is running out of oxygen and the US Coast Guard still can’t find the missing tourists.
The crew members are wealthy individuals who paid $250,000 for this unique underwater tour. They include British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistan’s richest resident Shahzada Dawood and his son, and OceanGate director Rush Stockton. There may also be explorer Paul-Henri Nargeole on the ship. He helped James Cameron while he was working on Titanic.
