The cost of gas in Europe on the first working day of the week and year are sold at prices less than $800 per thousand cubic meters. At the same time, the amounts are at the February levels. The relevant data was provided by the London ICE exchange.

February futures on the TTF index, which is the largest hub in Europe and is located in the Netherlands, opened trading at a price of 777.3 dollars per thousand cubic meters, losing 8% compared to closing indicators.

At the same time, their price as of 10.03 Moscow time is fixed at the level of 790.5 dollars, losing 6.4% from the last close. It is noted that the dynamics of quotations is published from the estimated cost of the last trading day, Friday, which stopped at $844.3 per thousand cubic meters.

In addition, it is noted that the quotes fell to $800 per thousand cubic meters already on December 30. That time it happened for the first time in 10 months.

Formerly Public News Service informedthat the head of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy Andrey Kutepov announced the development of a draft law on the use of alternative types of gas in order to effectively gasify the regions of the Russian Federation. The corresponding document was sent to the government in order to obtain the necessary conclusions.
