Galyaviev, who carried out a shooting at a Kazan school, was released from work in the colony

Ilnaza Galyavieva, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for shooting at a Kazan school, was not allowed to work at production facilities in the colony. This is reported by TASS with reference to Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia By Orenburg region.

This decision was made based on the results of a medical examination.

In April 2023 the court sentenced Galyaviev to life imprisonment to be served in a special regime colony. Currently he located in correctional colony No. 6 Sol-Iletsk Orenburg region together with other prisoners who received the maximum sentence.

Mass shooting at gymnasium No. 175 in Kazan happened May 11, 2021. As a result of Galyaviev’s attack on the educational institution, 667 people were injured, 143 of whom suffered serious injury.

Previously the prosecutor’s office demanded recover 1.4 million rubles in damages from him.
