France intends to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine from its arsenals


France is not going to continue supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from its own reserves, the country’s Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said on air on the LCI TV channel.

“Kyiv must pay for this from a special support fund, into which Paris invested 200 million euros,” the military man said.

According to him, the assistance provided by French forces has already exceeded three billion euros.

Earlier, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced on November 4 that aid supplies to Ukraine would be reduced as funds allocated by Congress began to run out.

Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Peter Szijjártó also stated that almost all EU foreign ministers spoke about public fatigue from the conflict in Ukraine.
