Forest litter caught fire in Oksky Reserve

On the night of August 1, a fire was discovered on the territory of the central district forestry of the Oksky Reserve. The forest floor caught fire. According to experts, the fire was caused by strong lightning discharges. By the morning of August 1, the fire was localized.

According to the press service of the Oksky Reserve on August 2, three units of equipment and ten personnel are currently at the extinguishing site. All necessary measures to eliminate the outbreak were taken. The area of ​​fire at the moment is more than 16 hectares.

Employees of the Oksky Nature Reserve urge visitors to observe all fire safety measures and not to enter the forest.
