Deputy Head ministries Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergei Vershinin made a statement that in a few days negotiations would be held in the format of a video link, in which representatives of Russia and UN.

Vershinin also stressed that Moscow is aware of the need to extend the grain deal in the future. At the same time, the diplomat noted that Russian diplomacy is going to raise the issue of the meaning of the agreements, subject to making any adjustments to it.

Earlier, the Public News Service reported that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, as part of a press conference following the summit that came to an end in Brussels, made a statement that the European Union would not create obstacles for the export of Russian grain and fertilizers.

It was also reported that US President Joe Biden said that he supports extension grain deal ostensibly for the benefit of African states and “peoples around the world.” The politician made the corresponding statement, speaking at the US-Africa summit in the capital of the United States.
