The weather on the night of December 31 to January 1 will not be winter at all.

On New Year’s Eve, weather forecasters predict in Moscow no higher than zero degrees and precipitation in the form of sleet and rain. Not at all winter weather will stand in the capital on the first day of the new year. The thermometer will rise to plus 5 degrees, a strong wind is expected, the gusts of which can reach 12-15 meters per second. It will not do without rain and black ice, according to a forecast published on the website of the Moscow government.

The synoptic picture will not change on Monday. According to meteorologists, the air temperature in the daytime on January 2 will be from zero to plus two degrees, and only in the evening we should hope for a fall to minus two degrees. January 3, Wednesday, it will snow. The nature of the weather will be unstable, which will also affect the temperature values: from minus four to plus one degree during the day and from zero to minus five at night. A more significant cooling should be expected only on January 4th. During the day from minus one to minus six degrees, at night weather forecasters predict from minus two to minus seven.

However, as already reported fromThe Teacher’s Newspaper, the New Year’s Eve, will not seem to all Russians as warm and soft as in the capital. In some regions of the country, the thermometers can drop below -40°. Up to -35° is expected in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Two degrees colder – in the Khanty-Mansiysk district.
