Snow depth in Moscow reached 22 cm, which is the climatic indicator for January. This was informed by the leading employee of the center weather “Phobos” Evgeny Tishkovets.
“AT Moscow region the most snow covered in Dmitrov – 24 cm, Pavlovsky Posad – 25 cm, Novo-Jerusalem and Mozhaisk – 26 cm, Klin – 28 cm, and in Cherusty the height of the snow cover reached 30 cm, ”the forecaster wrote in his Telegram channel.
He predicted that by noon the precipitation would stop, but after three o’clock in the morning on Saturday, heavy snowfalls would begin again.
Meanwhile, the head of the Meteo prognostic center, Alexander Shuvalov, warned the residents of the capital about the weather pandemonium in the coming days. Forecasters also informed that in the near future snowfalls would stop in Moscow, but in 12-18 hours they would begin again.
